A single malt whisky, carefully made using a selection of specialised malts. Once fermented, the wash is potstilled twice to retain the wonderful maltiness. Mellowed by filtering over wild olive charcoal and matured on heavy toasted French and American oak until the optimum marriage of wood and malt is obtained. This whisky is non-chill filtered to retain its optimum colour and flavour.
Tasting Notes Nose: A robust medley of rich dark raisins, caramel, bittersweet chocolate and molasses.
Taste: Rich dried dried fruit and nuts with cookies and hints of ripe almond. Warming spice develop to liven up the palate with slightly bitter sweet notes.
Finish: Long and warm with a lingering malt character.
